The Golden State Warriors will be seeking a second straight win when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, but they’ll have to do so without their star guard.

Steph Curry will miss the game against the Thunder due to a quad injury. He has been officially ruled out of the contest. On the season, Curry is averaging 27.9 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals per performance.

Steph Curry won't play vs. Thunder due to quad injury

Curry will miss his second consecutive game for Golden State due to the contusion that he suffered in a recent loss to the Houston Rockets. It remains to be seen exactly how much time Curry will miss due to the injury, but it isn’t believed to be especially serious.

Beating the Thunder will be a tall task for the Warriors, and it will be even tougher without Curry’s services. The defending champs have won 12 straight games and currently sit at 20-1 on the season.

The game will be the second of the season between Golden State and Oklahoma City. The Thunder pulled out a 126-11 victory over the Warriors back on Nov. 11. The teams will also play twice again later in the season, once in January and once in March.

Entering the game against Oklahoma City, the Warriors sit one game over.500 with a record of 11-10. They’ve been solid at home as they’ve won seven out of nine games played at the Chase Center, but they’ve won just four of the 12 games they’ve played on the road.
