Is Steph Curry playing tonight vs. Suns? Final status for Warriors star image

The Golden State Warriors have lost two straight games, so they’ll be looking to stop the bleeding when they head to Phoenix to take on the Suns on Thursday night.

The good news for the Warriors is that they’ll have their star guard available for the contest. Steph Curry isn’t listed on the official injury report for the game, and thus will be good to go.

Steph Curry will play vs. Suns on Thursday night

Curry is just a couple of games removed from a calf injury that kept him sidelined for over two weeks and cost him five games of action. Curry has played in two games since his return from the injury, and the matchup against the Suns will be his third.

After a couple of weeks on the sideline, one would think that Curry might have exhibited some signs of rust, but that hasn’t been the case at all. Curry dropped 39 points while shooting 50 percent from the floor in his first game back against the Minnesota Timberwolves and followed that up with a 48-point performance against the Portland Trail Blazers.

On the season, Curry is averaging 29.6 points, 3.9 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.3 minutes per performance.
