Stephen Curry has done it all and seen it all in the NBA.

Well, the Golden State Warriors legend had never done this before.

But there's a first time for everything.

And on Tuesday night, Curry had a career first.

In his 1,193rd career NBA game, Curry committed his first-ever flagrant foul.

"That was the first flagrant foul of Steph Curry's 17-year career -- 1,193 career games prior to tonight and zero flagrants," ESPN's Anthony Slater wrote on X. "Got called for stepping into the landing zone under an Isaiah Joe attempted 3."

It's a type of play that wasn't even a flagrant in the early stages of Curry's career.

It only became one because former Warriors center Zaza Pachulia went into Kawhi Leonard's landing zone and injured the Spurs star. From there, the NBA tried to deter such plays.

Curry certainly has gotten this called in his favor before. He's attempted more 3-pointers than any player ever, and defenders have had to try all sorts of things to slow him down.

There are other flagrant fouls of course, most involving overly physical contact or contact around the head. Curry has never gotten whistled for one of those.

This was Curry's first game back after missing three in a row with an illness. He marked the occasion with something he'd never done before.

Don't expect Curry to make a habit of this. This really could go down as the only flagrant foul he ever has.
