Jimmy Butler admits he liked the argument between Steve Kerr and Draymond Green image

The Golden State Warriors have had a rocky season, which is a stark contrast to their goals. They want to be a championship contender to take advantage of their window, but it seems they are making headlines more for courtside antics.

Of course, the Warriors are coming off a good Christmas Day win against the Dallas Mavericks, but the headline story remains the heated argument between Draymond Green and head coach Steve Kerr. Despite the implications of said argument, Warriors forward Jimmy Butler is taking it in stride.

Butler has no problems with the heated argument

As one of the most passionate competitors in the NBA, Butler is always a fun person to talk to amidst some controversial news. He is well-known for going off on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the past, and he has always remained honest since.

The Warriors have not had the best season, but they are working hard to succeed. With the competitiveness they have shown, they could be a dangerous team when the Playoffs come around. Butler knows that Kerr and Green have been successful together, so arguing is a sign that they both care, which could be a net positive.

Butler is looking at the brighter side of the argument because the Warriors are a much better team than people think. They have not had the best season so far, but the potential is there. With Stephen Curry, Butler, and Green as the core, anything is possible.

"That's just part of the game. When you've been together for so long, you're gonna have arguments. It ain't gonna be quiet all the time, it's okay. You've got two fierce competitors that have won it together, and they want to continually win. I expected it to happen, that's okay. I like that, yell at each other, turned me on a little bit," Butler said about the argument between Kerr and Green.

It seems like the Warriors are putting it behind them because they are in good spirits after the win against the Mavericks. Butler himself is not taking it too seriously, so they are taking it in stride.

The rest of the season will still be a test for the Warriors, as they want to succeed without controversies. This will be a challenging year for the Warriors with their ageing core, but they are prepared for what's next.
