It feels like an eternity since Harrison Barnes competed with the Golden State Warriors

The 6-foot-7 forward was drafted by the Dubs early in the 2012 NBA Draft and spent the first four years of his career with the franchise.

Barned helped Golden State capture a championship in 2015.

However, after blowing a 3-1 NBA Finals lead to the Cleveland Cavaliers the following season, the Warriors elected to replace the UNC product with Kevin Durant in free agency.

While Barnes missed out on two additional titles, he’s managed to be a respectable role player with the Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, and San Antonio Kings since leaving the Bay.

Harrison, who’s averaging 12.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game with the Spurs this season, had his best game of the year against the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and made history in the process.

“Harrison Barnes vs Memphis: 31 points, five rebounds, five assists, and seven three-point makes,” StatMuse posted on X/Twitter after Barnes’ breakout performance. “The oldest player (33) in franchise history with a 30/5/5 game with 5.0+ threes.”

It’s clear Barnes can still contribute adequately in the big leagues. The Spurs boast an impressive 14-6 record through 20 games, and Barnes’ contributions have much to do with that.

Will Barned achieve another historic feat this season? Probably not, but there's a good chance he’ll continue to play his role well in San Antonio.
