Anthony Davis is hurt again.
It's not that big of a surprise at this point.
The Dallas Mavericks are taking on the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, and they will be particularly shorthanded in the frontcourt.
Dereck Lively II is out.
So is Davis, who entered the day listed as doubtful with a left calf strain.

AD out tonight.
Anthony Davis isn't playing on Friday against the Grizzlies due to his left calf injury.
He hurt it on Oct. 29 against the Indiana Pacers, leaving that game early and not returning.
He has already missed three games with the injury. Friday's absence will be the fourth in a row for Davis.
With AD and Lively both out, there are a lot of minutes to go around in the frontcourt for center Daniel Gafford and forward P.J. Washington.
On Friday, the Mavs play the Grizzlies, who have maybe the longest injury report in the league in the early going. No one is going to be feeling sorry for anyone.
Whoever handles the absences better will have a chance at getting a nice conference win.
