Cooper Flagg played one of the best games of his life on Tuesday night in the Dallas Mavericks' last action before Christmas.
The No. 1 overall pick out of Duke put up 33 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists while outplaying Nikola Jokic and beating the Denver Nuggets.
That included a ridiculous late-game 3-pointer from Flagg that served as a bit of a dagger.
Everything about the performance was remarkable. Every time Flagg dribbled, he got by people and into whatever spot on the floor he wanted to be.
Flagg in full flight, both literally and figuratively, is special.
After the game, Flagg was all smiles. He just turned 19 this week, and he's loving life.

He's also got just one thing on his Christmas list.
Flagg was asked after the game what he was hoping to get from Santa Claus. His answer? More Mavericks wins.

The best part of that for Flagg is that he's fully in control of that. If he keeps playing like this, the Mavs will keep winning. He's too good to be stopped on nights like this one.
