Cooper Flagg is figuring things out.
That's great news for the Dallas Mavericks, and not so good news for the rest of the NBA.
The No. 1 overall pick is on a run never before done in NBA history. He's the youngest player to ever score at least 20 points in three consecutive games, younger than LeBron James was when he first did it.
Here's a look from Real Sports at the stats from those past three games:

One key note on that graphic: There's a green W next to each game. Flagg's strong performances are translating to wins.
Early in the season, that wasn't always true. Flagg was struggling a bit, and so were the Mavericks.
Now, they're hitting their strides together, along with a healthy Anthony Davis helping the cause.

The Mavs have also recognized that Flagg is not a point guard. They're actually playing Brandon Williams at the point a lot over D'Angelo Russell, and he's performing well.
If Kyrie Irving can get back in time from his knee injury, this Mavericks team could be dangerous.
Even if they don't make postseason noise this year, though, it's clear Flagg has them moving in the right direction.
