On Monday night, it was particularly fitting that Donovan Mitchell wears the number 45 on his jersey.
That's the number of points he scored as the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled away late to beat the Orlando Magic.
Mitchell shot 15-for-25 from the floor, including 5-for-8 from 3-point land. He was also 10-for-12 at the foul line.
He grabbed four rebounds, dished out four assists and nabbed a steal.
And most importantly on this night, he tied a LeBron James franchise record in Cleveland, according to ESPN Insights.

Monday night marked the fifth time that Mitchell had scored at least 45 points while playing at home for the Cavs.
That's the same number of times LeBron scored 45 points in a game at home for Cleveland.
Nobody has done that more times.
So if Mitchell goes out and drops 45-plus at home again, he'll surpass King James and hold the record all for himself.
And when you're talking about basketball in Cleveland, you aren't getting better than LeBron. Anything Mitchell does to exceed him is remarkable in its own way.
Not everyone was sure Mitchell would be around for the long haul when the Cavaliers originally acquired him from the Utah Jazz. But he's made it clear he wants to be in Cleveland, and he's been a superstar from the moment he arrived.
