Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller had one of the dunks of the season in a 133-126 win against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night.
Early in the second quarter, Miller caught a transition pass from Moussa Diabaté and dunked all over Hawks guard Vít Krejčí.
Miller finished with 26 points on 9/15 shooting, including four made 3-pointers. He also posted eight assists, five rebounds and had three steals.

He was one of five Hornets to score in double-figures on Thursday night, including LaMelo Ball (28), Kon Knueppel (28), Miles Bridges (16) and Tidjane Salaun (10). Charlotte shot 24/49 (49%) on 3-pointers in the win.
The win over Atlanta was Miller’s fifth straight game in double-figures, dating back to a 111-86 win against the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 5. He scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a 119-111 overtime win against the Cleveland Cavaliers last Sunday.
Miller, who’s in his third season with Charlotte, has dealt with injuries throughout his short NBA career. He’s already missed 16 games this season due to a left shoulder subluxation he suffered in the second game of the season. He had surgery in January 2025 for a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist, causing him to miss the remainder of last season.
Miller’s recent play is a great sign for Charlotte, as he’s a critical piece of the Hornets rebuild. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft is averaging 18.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists this season. He’s shooting 38.3% from the field and 33% from long range.
