The Boston Celtics' media members usually play a scrimmage against one another before the start of each season.
It went down a little differently on Tuesday.
This year, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla decided that the Boston coaching staff would take on the members of the local media instead.
It wasn't close.
The scrimmage appears to have finished 57-4 in favor of the coaches.
This game is traditionally media vs media. But this year Joe Mazzulla made the media face coaches presumably to embarrass them.

The Celtics staff is lifelong basketball players with professional experience, including God Shammgod and Amile Jefferson.
The Celtics media beat isn't exactly that. After all, those that can't play write or broadcast.

On the one hand, it's a cool perk for the Celtics media members to get this opportunity.
On the other hand, it can't have been that fun in these circumstances.
They'll surely be sure to ask Mazzulla a few tough questions as the season goes along.
