After a second-round exit, Jaylen Brown's name immediately was associated with many teams throughout the league.
It was unclear at first whether or not the Celtics would enter a mini rebuild/down year or if they would try to remain contenders.
With recent reports of the 2024 NBA Finals MVP likely not being traded, Brown made a statement through an event he held Saturday in Boston.

Brown giving back to the Boston community
Saturday, Brown held an event for his '741' brand, where he sold clothes, met with fans and signed some of their gear.

Brown decided to create his own brand rather than signing with one, which was a big storyline when he was an unsigned shoe free agent.

After signing the largest contract in NBA history at the time in 2023, Brown made it a mission to close the poverty gap in Boston and to contribute to a better community in the city.
Brown appears to be in good spirits about a week after being eliminated, and amid news that he was playing with a partially torn meniscus for the past couple of months.
