The Boston Celtics will be without Jayson Tatum for a large part of next season, but recent videos on social media of him working out can only lift their spirits.
For the beginning of the season, Jaylen Brown will be carrying much of the load.
Before they lost Al Horford to the Golden State Warriors, they finalized their training camp roster ahead of the Sep. 29 start date.
“The Celtics have signed Wendell Moore Jr to an Exhibit 10, finalizing their training camp roster,” Celtics reporter Noa Dalzell said Saturday.
Moore has played three seasons in the NBA thus far, suiting up for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, and, most recently, the Charlotte Hornets.
Although he hasn’t had a major impact during his young career, Moore has shown flashes of scoring in his limited minutes.

Last year with the Hornets, he averaged 5.4 points per game in 17.5 minutes per game.
Moore was last given a chance to fully show his potential in College, where he attended one of the best basketball schools in the world, Duke University.
He spent three years at Duke, and by his junior season, he was a star player, averaging 13.4 points per game, earning All-CCC and ACC All-Defense.
The six-foot-five forward started all 39 games his junior year, which led to him being the 26th pick in the 2022 draft.
The Celtics clearly saw potential in Moore, and it won’t hurt to have another Duke alumnus in the locker room alongside Tatum.
