Celtics' Joe Mazzulla uses same 2 words to answer every press conference question after loss to Pacers image

Joe Mazzulla wasn't happy.

His Boston Celtics had just lost to the lowly Indiana Pacers on a late bucket by Pascal Siakam, and the head coach didn't have much to say in his postgame press conference.

In fact, Mazzulla answered every question with the same two words: "Illegal screen."

He said it over and over.

He was referring to his feelings on that game-winning bucket.

Siakam originally set the screen up top before getting the ball back and scoring. And there was definitely some shoulder lean from Siakam into Celtics defender Derrick White.

Mazzulla is known for some goofy press conference antics, with answers that range from existential to a bit nonsensical.

This time, he went with the persistence bit.

It'll be tough to evade notice from the league office on this one. Mazzulla kept criticizing one specific call, over and over.

Clearly, he didn't agree with it. And we didn't get to learn a single other thought of his besides that.
