What time is UFC Qatar on today?

  • Date: Saturday, November 22
  • Start time: 1 p.m. ET | 10 a.m. PT
  • Location: Ali Bin Hamad al-Attiyah Arena - Al Rayyan, Qatar

The main card for UFC Qatar begins at 1 p.m. ET, with the prelims starting at 10 a.m. ET. Tsarukyan and Hooker should make their way to the octagon around 4:30 p.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.

Tsarukyan (22-3) is on a four-fight win streak, beating former champion Charles Oliveira last year in a title eliminator. He was supposed to face Islam Makhachev for the UFC lightweight title, but pulled out a day before the fight.

The Armenian has attempted to regain the good graces of the matchmakers ever since. A win could put Tsarukyan, ranked second in the lightweight division, back in the title picture.

Hooker (24-12), ranked seventh, is on a three-fight win streak after going 1-4 from 2020 to 2022. The Auckland-born fighter recently recovered from a hand injury and believes he’s 100%. "The Hangman" wants to change things up at lightweight and secure a shot at gold.

"I knew he had to fight to get back into title contention. So I knew that this fight, I would be the only person that would want the most difficult fight. I don't discredit the other guys for picking their battles and trying to find the path of least resistance. That's just not the way that I do things. He's the toughest test. He's the best fighter in the division," Hooker told Uncrowned.

The co-main event will see Belal Muhammad vs. Ian Machado Garry.

Muhammad (24-4, 1 NC) is a former UFC welterweight champion who lost his eleven-fight unbeaten streak and title against Jack Della Maddalena. Garry (16-1) lost a top contender fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov last December. He rebounded with a win against Carlos Prates.
