The UFC is gearing up for a blockbuster title clash as Islam Makhachev moves up in weight to challenge Jack Della Maddalena for the welterweight crown at the next pay-per-view event.
While the Dagestani enters the bout as the betting favourite, many see Della Maddalena as his toughest test to date - a precise, dangerous striker with knockout power that could threaten Makhachev's grappling-heavy style.
One fighter that has no doubts about how this matchup will play out is lightweight contender Paddy "The Baddy" Pimblett.

The outspoken Liverpudlian has had Makhachev in his sights since joining the UFC's 155-pound division, and he hasn't taken kindly to the former champion's decision to vacate the lightweight belt in pursuit of a second title.
"I hope JDM [Jack Della Maddalena] absolutely punches his little head in, yeah," Pimblett told UFC Europe.
"I hope JDM batters him.
"I think JDM is a much better boxer, and if he can keep it on the feet, then he will absolutely batter him, and I hope he does."
Pimblett went on to fire shots directly at Makhachev, referencing the Dagestani's early title run.
"Islam was chatting pony the other day, saying who have I beat when he got the title shot at lightweight off beating Bobby Green, someone who I beat faster than you, you little bum. How about that one, Islam?
"Get back down to lightweight, and I'll punch your head in, as well."

While Pimblett doesn't currently have a fight booked, he's firmly in the mix for a high-profile bout, potentially even a title eliminator.
Alongside Justin Gaethje and the winner of the upcoming Arman Tsarukyan versus Dan Hooker fight, the Scouser remains one of several contenders vying for a shot at lightweight gold.
As for Makhachev, he'll attempt to join the elite club of two-division champions - but against a ruthless striker like Della Maddalena, the path to history may be far from straightforward.
