Blake Butera had quite the Thursday.
And it wasn't just about the fact that the 33-year old was hired as manager of the Washington Nationals.
Nope. He also became a father.
That's right. On the same day as the biggest promotion of Butera's career, he became a dad for the first time.
According to The Washington Post's Spencer Nusbaum:
"He and his wife, Caroline, welcomed their first child, Blair Margaux Butera, on Thursday."
Doesn't get much better than that.

Butera will be the youngest active manager in MLB at 33 years old.
He has managed in the minor leagues for the Hudson Valley Renegaes and the Charleston RiverDogs.
Butera was also the bench coach for Team Italy in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
The Nationals needed a new full-time manager after firing Davey Martinez on July 6.
Miguel Cairo had finished out the season as the interim manager, but he wasn't retained full time for the position.
Instead, the Nats went for the youthful Butera, who just turned 33 in August.
And with Butera comes a newborn baby and a hope for brighter things to come with the Nationals.
