Eddy Yean signed as an international free agent by the Washington Nationals in 2017.
He was involved in the trade for Josh Bell in 2020.
And now, Yean is coming home.
The Nats have reached a free agent contract with Yean, reports The Washington Post's Spencer Nusbaum.
"Righty had a 3.06 ERA in AAA last year," Nusbaum wrote on X. "Power arm, and the Nats hope they can help him develop more swing and miss. Just 24 y/o."

It's very early in the offseason, so where Yean will end up fitting on the organizational depth chart remains to be seen.
But it's always good to get a pitcher with youth still on his side that throws hard.
There likely would be a coach here or there in the system that even remembers Yean, or a player or two Yean played with. It's always good to have familiar faces.
The Nats have a lot of work to do to rise into contention. Having some upside in Yean join the system is a solid move.
