Jose Urena is sitting pretty.
The veteran MLB pitcher is set to receive a 2025 World Series ring no matter what happens between the Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Teams technically decide who gets a ring. But generally, a player who has appeared for a team in a season, even if not on the postseason roster, will end up with a ring.
Urena pitched two games for the Dodgers this season, totaling three innings and allowing one run.
He also pitched six games for the Blue Jays, going 12.1 innings and allowing five runs.

Urena actually gave himself a ton of chances this season. He pitched for five teams in 2025.
In addition to the Dodgers and Blue Jays, Urena appeared for the New York Mets, Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
In all, He threw in 19 games this season and had a 4.58 ERA.
The 34-year old right-hander is at the journeyman stage of his MLB career, but his sinker-balling ways are just effective enough to keep earning chances.
Urena has pitched for 11 MLB teams in all through an 11-year career. In addition to the five already mentioned, there has been time with the Marlins, Rockies, Rangers, Tigers, White Sox and Brewers.
At this rate, he may add a few more teams to his list next season.
First, Urena is set to get a ring. Another veteran, infielder Buddy Kennedy, is in the same boat as Urena, having played for both finalists this season. Maybe they can have their own special ring ceremony together.
