The Toronto Blue Jays have added to their pitching depth with a low-cost signing this week.
The new free agent addition is Connor Seabold, according to Brendan Campbell.
Seabold has spent time in the organizations of the Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves.
He most recently pitched in the majors for Atlanta in 2025, putting up a 9.82 ERA in four appearances.
He also pitched three games for the Rays in 2025 with a 1.35 ERA.

He spent the 2024 season in the Korea Baseball Organization.
Before that, he pitched for the Rockies in 2023, a 7.52 ERA in 27 outings.
In 2021 and 2022, Seabold had major league time with the Red Sox, his first two MLB seasons -- a 6.00 ERA in just one outing in 2021, then an 11.29 ERA in five outings in 2022.
All told, Seabold has a career 7.79 ERA at the MLB level.

In the minor leagues, he has a 4.16 ERA.
That lone year in Korea yielded a 3.43 ERA for Seabold.
He strikeouts out 7.3 batters per nine innings at the MLB level and walks 3.3 per nine.
He'll likely just be some minor league depth for the Blue Jays, but maybe he'll get a few MLB innings here and there for Toronto.
