When July rolls around, Randy Arozarena starts to heat up.
Technically, he jumped the gun this year. He hit two home runs on June 30, including the 100th of his career.
But he went right back to the well on Tuesday, July 1, hitting another homer. It's the first time he hit three homers in the span of two games since... last July.
Arozarena has a better career slugging percentage in August than July, but that's only because he finally gets rolling in the summer.
His worst career slugging happens in March/April, followed by May, followed by June. In July, Arozarena slugs .447, the second-best mark of his career. He heats up as the year heats up.

The Mariners could certainly use it. They've hung around the periphery of the division race, and that's with most of their bats struggling around Cal Raleigh.
If Arozarena can step in the box behind Raleigh and be a fearsome hitter, that's a huge step for Seattle.
If history is any indication, Arozarena should keep on heating up.
