Logan Gilbert was making just his second career playoff start on Tuesday night for the Seattle Mariners in Detroit against the Tigers.
It was a huge one, too. The ALDS was tied 1-game apiece.
Gilbert brought his best stuff.
The right-hander went 6.0 innings, allowing four hits and one run, while striking out seven.
He's only the second pitcher in Mariners history with that stat line in a playoff game, according to Just Baseball.
The first? Freddy Garcia in 2000.

Seattle hasn't spent a ton of its history in the postseason. The Mariners have never even played in a World Series.
But they have had some great pitchers make it to the playoffs, and for Gilbert to be only the second one to accomplish this is quite the feat.
The 28-year old Gilbert is coming off a great season that foreshadowed the chance to be special in the postseason.
The 6-foot-6 righty strikes out hitters at a rate as good as any starter. In the regular season, that was 173 strikeouts in 131.0 innings pitched.
He also had a 3.44 ERA this season, and he has a 3.58 regular season ERA in his career.
Gilbert is just one piece of a very talented Mariners rotation that gives them a legitimate chance to win the whole thing.
And if he keeps pitching like this, Seattle's chances will be even better.
