Mariners' Game 7 history gets incredible boost from this winner-take-all record image

The Seattle Mariners' magical season all comes down to this.

A win in ALCS Game 7 and it's on to the World Series. A loss and it's back home for the winter.

The Toronto Blue Jays play host to this massive game in a building that will be rocking with the Canadian faithful. The Mariners will have to overcome that to claim the American League pennant.

They've got some interesting history in games like this, and if stuff like that matters, maybe it's a good omen.

Mariners' Game 7 history

The Seattle Mariners have never played in a Game 7.

They're seeking their first berth in the World Series, and they'll be trying to do it on a stage they've never been on as a franchise.

But, there's some good news.

Mariners' winner-take-all history

The Mariners have played in three winner-take-all games.

They were all Game 5s of the ALDS round: 1995, 2001 and 2025.

In all three of those, the Mariners won.

So they've never lost a winner-take-all postseason game.

Might as well keep that streak alive on Monday night.
