The San Francisco Giants are looking to move on from a few.500 seasons over the last few years. There are high hopes now that the club has Tony Vitello moving forward, but he will have his work cut out for himself.

For starters, the Giants play in one of the most competitive leagues in all of baseball, the NL West. They have to keep up with the likes of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres

The club has not been too aggressive this offseason, but did sign Adrian Houser to a two-year deal. They also made deals with Jason Foley and Sam Hentges, but that likely will not be it from the club out West.

San Francisco could use an upgrade in the outfield. They could use a better defensive corner outfielder to help Jung Hoo Lee out in center field.

With a few great options out there, they should be able to find an upgrade. However, according to Around the Foghorn's Nick San Miguel, Kyle Tucker may not be on their list.

"San Francisco has a hole in right field, but it is unlikely they will fill it with Kyle Tucker. He is the premier offensive player on the market and while he has been connected to the Giants at times, the biggest left-handed power-hitting outfielder the Giants have landed in free agency is probably Michael Conforto, and that seems unlikely to change this offseason."

This may not be the news that fans want to hear, but there are other options available. Cody Bellinger is still sitting on the open market alongside Harrison Bader, who is more likely a prime target for the team this winter. He is the defender they are looking for with a good bat.
