One Pirates legend has matched another.
Pittsburgh's active all-time great, Andrew McCutchen, is now tied in the franchise record books with their all-time greatest, Roberto Clemente.
McCutchen slugged the 240th home run of his Pirates career on Sunday. That matches Clemente, and they're now tied for third in franchise history on the Pittsburgh HR leaderboard.

The homer was McCutchen's fifth of the season.
McCutchen is in his second stint with the Pirates after spending his first nine MLB seasons (2009-2017) in Pittsburgh. He hit an additional 83 home runs away from Pittsburgh, meaning he has 323 overall.
Clemente spent his entire 18-year career with the Pirates and collected exactly 3,000 hits before his tragic death in a 1972 plane crash while delivering aid to earthquake victims in Nicaragua.
Two players remain ahead of McCutchen on the Pirates' all-time homer leaderboard: Willie Stargell (475 with Pittsburgh) and Ralph Kiner (301).
McCutchen will certainly go down as one of the best players the Pirates have ever had.
