The Philadelphia Phillies' loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday night in Game 4 of the National League Division Series ended their season, and begins an interesting offseason in Philadelphia.

The Phillies have six key pieces of their 2025 roster that will be unrestricted free agents this offseason, and only time will tell how many will return to Philadelphia and how many will find a new home in 2026.

One of those key pieces is catcher J.T. Realmuto, and after Thursday night's loss he wanted no part in discussing his future right now.

Realmuto Shuts Down Any Free Agency Talk

Realmuto has spent the last seven years with the Phillies, making two All-Star games, winning two Gold Gloves and two Silver Sluggers.

However, this offseason he'll be a free agent, and there's a lot of uncertainty of where he'll play in 2026. But, after Game 4 on Thursday night, Realmuto shut down any questions surrounding his free agency.

"I'm not here to talk about free agency. Don't ask that question right now," Realmuto said. "I'm thinking about losing a baseball game. That's what it feels like right now. The last thing that I'm thinking about is next year. If you want to ask about this series or my teammates, like, I understand that. But, I haven't thought about next year yet."

Realmuto, is one of six Phillies' players who will be free agents this offseason, including star slugger Kyle Schwarber and pitcher Ranger Suarez.

The veteran played the first five years of his MLB career with the Miami Marlins, and has spent the last seven years in Philadelphia. But, now Realmuto has a decision to make on where he'll play in 2026.
