The Yankees have recently moved up the standings and now hold the top Wild Card spot in the playoff picture.
Per usual, former MVP and captain of the team, Aaron Judge, has played a large role in them winning more games over the past few weeks.
Tonight, the Yankees took the field once again, hosting the Tigers for the third and final game of a three-game series.
Aaron Judge didn't wait too long to make noise tonight, putting his name in the statsheet in his first at-bat.
Aaron Judge inches closer to franchise history after HR No. 45
Not too long ago, Aaron Judge passed Yankee legend and baseball legend, Yogi Berra, for the fifth most home runs in franchise history.

He's quickly climbing the leaderboard and is a step closer to passing another huge name after hitting a home run on Thursday night.
Judge now sits at a career total of 360 career home runs and is just one home run behind Joe DiMaggio for fourth all-time on the Yankees' all-time list.
After Judge eventually passes DiMaggio on the list, it will take some time before he passes another great, as Lou Gehrig sits in third place with 493 home runs.
After that is Mickey Mantle in second with 536 home runs and Babe Ruth in first with 659 home runs.
Judge has often been criticized for his drop in production once the postseason comes around, so it will be important for him to finish September strong and to carry some momentum into the playoffs, assuming they make it.
