The MLB postseason will get started on Tuesday with eight teams in action. The Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners get a bye in the first round and will be heading into the round of eight.
Two of those teams are looking for their first-ever World Series title. There is one more, and that is the San Diego Padres.
Those three teams have yet to win a World Series, and join a list of five teams in baseball, as both the Tampa Bay Rays and Colorado Rockies join the list.

Obviously, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the most recent. They won it a season ago and are seeking back-to-back titles. The Dodgers will take on the Cincinnati Reds, who are now at 35 seasons without a World Series title. They won it in 1990.
The Boston Red Sox are next on the list. The Red Sox won the title in 2018. Boston will take on the New York Yankees in a big-time American League East rivalry starting Tuesday. The Yankees will start the postseason looking to erase history since 2009, when they last took down the title.

The Philadelphia Phillies have not won a title since the year before the Yankees. 2008 was the last title for them.
For the Toronto Blue Jays, it was the magical season of 1993 when they last won a title. The Detroit Tigers go all the way back to 1984, while the Cleveland Guardians have a massive wait, as it has been 1948 since they won a title.
October baseball is the best. This year, we get an extra day of it. Going to be all sorts of excitement for the postseason, and these three franchises have some extra incentive to bring it home for the fans.
