Team USA's projected WBC lineup is incredible after Bryce Harper news image

Team USA keeps getting better and better.

When the American squad pulls up to the World Baseball Classic, it'll be with one of the best groups of hitters ever assembled on a diamond. The lineup decisions are pretty much limitless.

The latest news came on Tuesday, when Bryce Harper's spot on the team was announced.

The U.S. Didn't need Harper, but now that they've got him, the roster is even crazier.

Team USA projected WBC lineup

This is an attempt to project a lineup based on the hitters we already know are on the team. Obviously, things could change between now and March.

  1. Corbin Carroll, LF
  2. Bobby Witt Jr., SS
  3. Aaron Judge, RF
  4. Kyle Schwarber, DH
  5. Bryce Harper, 1B
  6. Cal Raleigh, C
  7. Gunnar Henderson, 3B
  8. Pete Crow-Armstrong, CF
  9. Brice Turang, 2B

That leaves out Will Smith, who looks currently slated to back up Raleigh.

There will likely be a few more hitters added to the roster. Pete Alonso recently expressed his interest but said he hadn't been asked yet.

The pitching staff is also incredible, led by the two Cy Young winners, Tarik Skubal and Paul Skenes.

Team USA lost in the last final to Japan. This group is hoping to avenge that, and all the talent has come out to try and do it.
