This probably hasn't happened before.
In one of the large gathering spaces for media at MLB's Winter Meetings, softball superstar Montana Fouts threw a bullpen session on Tuesday.
The fun moment was captured on video and shared widely on social media:

Fouts herself chimed in with this comment on X:
"Have to get it in somehow! Thanks to MLB and Mr. (Harold) Reynolds for letting me put the arm in a circle!"

She was a star at the University of Alabama, where she was a four-time All American and threw a perfect game in the 2021 Women's College World Series against UCLA.
Fouts holds the Kentucky high school softball ERA record at 0.16. In her high school career, Fouts threw 25 no-hitters, including 15 perfect games.
In her final season at Alabama, Fouts had a 1.49 ERA and 323 strikeouts.
And now, the whole baseball world has gotten to see her ability up close.
