The rosters for the MLB All-Star Futures game have been set, and a pair of top prospects will be representing the New York Yankees.
Highly touted outfielder and former first-round pick Spencer Jones will be the highlight player for the Yankees during the big weekend.
He will be joined by left-hander Brock Selvidge, currently the organization's No. 10 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.
Jones has been enjoying a strong season with the Somerset Patriots, the organization's Double-A affiliate. In 66 games, Jones has a.251 batting average with 10 home runs, 46 RBI and a.757 OPS.
He's currently the organization's top healthy prospect with Jasson Dominguez on the injured list due to an oblique injury.
In 15 starts, Selvidge has a 7-5 record with a 3.95 ERA in 79.2 innings pitched. He has 80 strikeouts, 39 walks and four home runs allowed.
Selvidge started the season at Double-A and has spent the entire first half at that level.
The MLB All-Star Futures Game takes place Saturday, July 13, at 4:10 p.m. ET at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
