The 104.1 pitch came on a third strike vs. Sean Murphy to get the strikeout swinging. Miller got Jurickson Profar on a grounder with a 90-mile-per-hour slider, the same pitch he threw to get Marcell Ozuna on a flyout.

On the year, Miller has 17 saves and 54 strikeouts with 16 walked batters. For his career, he has 195 strikeouts in 131 innings over 97 appearances.

The Athletics would go on to win the game in 11 innings, 5-4.
