The New York Yankees have several decisions to make this Winter. MLB's free agency is set to open on Thursday at 5 p.m. For eligible players. One of the Yankees' tough decisions will be what to do with outfielder Trent Grisham, who enjoyed a breakout 2025 campaign in a contract year.

Grisham will be 29 on Opening Day in 2026 and has been a below-average career hitter, but he improved his stock after showing solid power this season.

Trent Grisham receives shocking $90 million contract prediction.

Is Trent Grisham worth $90 million in free agency? Before 2025, he had three straight seasons hitting below.200, and was known as a defensive specialist.

However, according to ESPN's Kiley McDaniel, Trent Grisham's contract is predicted to be four years, $90 million.

That's an AAV of $22.5 million. Grisham could end up being worth that money, but he would have to keep up his 2025 production.

Over 143 games this year, Grisham posted an.811 OPS, smashed 34 home runs, and worked 82 walks. Those are all career-highs for Grisham by a lot, and playing in Yankee Stadium likely contributed to those numbers.

It's unclear if New York wants to sign Trent Grisham, but some other teams that may be potential suitors for the 34-home run outfielder are the San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers, and Philadelphia Phillies
