The New York Yankees, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays are among the teams awaiting a free agent decision from Cody Bellinger.
And for all we know, maybe there's a mystery team involved, too.
But the clubs still interested in Bellinger now have an update: The decision could be coming soon.
That's what former GM and current baseball media member Jim Bowden shared on X on Tuesday morning:
"Cody Bellinger is mulling over multiple offers from multiple teams and is expected to make a decision shortly."

Bellinger had a great year in the Bronx in 2025.
The Yankees, relative to the others, have had an incredibly quiet offseason. Getting Bellinger back would feel like a big win.
The Mets have already signed Bo Bichette away from the Blue Jays, but they could really use Bellinger to finally fill their centerfield need.
The Blue Jays missed out on Tucker and lost Bichette, and so even though they've signed Dylan Cease and Kazuma Okamoto, Bellinger could complete a strong offseason rather than it coming to a bit of a disappointing end.
Wherever Bellinger goes, he proves impressive defensive versatility between first base and the outfield, along with a strong lefty bat with some serious pop.
And once Bellinger is off the board, that's really it for the big-name hitting free agents.
