Yankees-Dodgers series can make MLB MVP history with Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani image

The New York Yankees are in Los Angeles for what might be one of the most high-powered regular season series in MLB history.

It's a World Series rematch, of course, after L.A. took home the crown.

But more than that, it's an MVP bonanza.

There's a strong chance that for the first time in MLB history, two opposing batting lineups will feature three MVPs at once.

For the Yankees, the trio would be Aaron Judge, Paul Goldschmidt and Cody Bellinger (who ironically won his MVP with the Dodgers).

For the Dodgers, it'll be Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.

The Dodgers also still have the rare pitcher MVP on their roster, Clayton Kershaw. Sadly, he's not slated to take the mound this weekend against the Yankees.

Judge and Ohtani are likely MVP frontrunners again after taking each of their league's respective honors last year.

And this weekend, they'll be just part of the group of stars shining brightly in Hollywood.
