Aaron Judge stands out.
Even if he wasn’t one of the greatest hitters in the history of baseball, this New York Yankees superstar is unlike almost anyone else in the game’s history simply by existing as himself.
That’s because Judge is 6-foot-7 and 282 pounds. He’s also an above-average runner and thrower in addition to his hitting prowess and natural size.
So yeah, as we know, Judge is an incredible athlete.
He’s so remarkable that one former NFL star thinks Judge would fit quite well in a different sport.
Giants great Justin Tuck recently spoke on an MLB.com podcast with Jimmy Rollins about Judge’s potential football bonafides.
“He’s so different than the typical baseball player,” Tuck said. “… He could be like one of those new-age receiving tight ends.”

Judge over the middle or in the red zone, now that’d be a tough target to miss.
He was a wide receiver in his high school days and set his school’s record for touchdowns, so running routes and hauling in passes wouldn’t be foreign to Judge.
He probably isn’t leaving the Yankees anytime soon, but it’s fun to think about much like it was always fun to imagine LeBron James making an NFL cameo.
The world’s best athletes truly are incredible, and no one would doubt Judge if he decided to give another sport a try.
