If you're a New York Yankees teammate of Aaron Judge, you probably don't want to hurt Aaron Judge.

Anthony Volpe didn't quite heed that principle on Saturday evening.

When Judge was running off the field between innings, Volpe tossed a baseball his way. Judge didn't see it coming, and it bonked him right in the head.

To be fair to Volpe, players do this after pretty much every defensive inning. It's not clear what may have distracted Judge this time.

The 6-foot-7 superstar stayed in the game, so it seems like he's no worse for wear.

But man, that could've been worse. Good thing it avoided his eyes.

Put some caution tape around that superstar.
