Aaron Judge is keeping quite the good company.

In fact, he might even be outshining his company.

In this case, Judge's company is New York Yankees legend Babe Ruth. And lately, Judge has been hitting a lot like baseball's first great super-duper star.

MLB Network shared the following stats on Tuesday:

  • Aaron Judge's last 134 regular season games:.358/.492/.802, 58 HR, 142 RBI
  • Babe Ruth's 1927 season (151 games):.356/.486/.772, 60 HR, 165 RBI

That's the famous Murderer's Row Yankees team from 1927, the year Ruth set baseball's single-season home runs record that stood until Roger Maris broke it three decades later.

And Judge is outperforming that version of Ruth.

It's easy to take Judge for granted, but he's got a legitimate case as the greatest right-handed hitter of all time.

Anytime you can compare stats to Babe freakin' Ruth and look that good, you're doing something very, very right.
