The New York Yankees are starting to heat up in the final weeks of the MLB season. With an 80-63 record entering Tuesday, the Yanks have won 11 of their last 14 as they eye the Toronto Blue Jays for the top spot in the AL East.
Things are starting to click again, and of course, AL MVP candidate Aaron Judge is still making his case for the label of the best player in baseball.
On Tuesday, Aaron Judge passed a fellow Yankee great on the historic franchise's record books.

Aaron Judge passes Yogi Berra on Yankees' all-time home runs list
Entering their game against the Detroit Tigers, Aaron Judge was tied with Yogi Berra for the New York Yankees' all-time home runs list. That changed in the first inning of Tuesday's matchup.
Judge, 33, worked his way into a full count against the Tigers' Casey Mize in the bottom of the first before blasting a high splitter over the plate for his 44th home run of the season and 359th home run of his career.

The home run moved Judge past Yankees legend Yogi Berra into fifth place on the franchise's all-time home runs list. He now joins an elite top five that includes Babe Ruth (659), Mickey Mantle (536), Lou Gehrig (493), and Joe DiMaggio (361).
It's just a matter of time for Judge to pass Joe DiMaggio for the No. 4 spot on the list, and he will likely be able to earn the spot before the 2025 regular season ends on Sept 28.
