Mets troll Ronald Acuña Jr. with savage message about little brother image

There's nothing better than a good troll job on an MLB scoreboard.

The New York Mets embraced that opportunity on Sunday at the expense of Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr.

Acuña had sent out a post on X earlier on Sunday complaining that if he hadn't hustled in the way teammate Jarred Kelenic hadn't the night before, Acuña would've been taken out of the game.

The Mets happen to employ Acuña's younger brother, Luisangel.

And when Luisangel came to bat on Sunday, this is what the Citi Field scoreboard said:

"Has not done any tweeting today."

Brilliant work by the Mets.

Luisangel is 23 years old and originally came to the Mets in the 2023 trade that sent Max Scherzer to the Texas Rangers.

He's not the all-tools star his older brother is, but Luisangel has proven himself to be a legitimate major league player.

It's fitting that the Acuña brothers are inter-division rivals. If Ronald can get healthy, they'll see plenty of one another in the years to come.

But on Sunday, one brother was used at the other's trolling expense, and it was pretty darn funny.
