Pete Alonso has put himself ahead of two New York Mets legends in one historic game against the Yankees on Saturday.
Polar Bear Pete passed Mike Piazza on one list while widening his gap on David Wright on another list.
It was part of a two-homer, five-RBI night against the Subway Series rivals.
Alonso entered the game one shy in the RBI category in Mets history to Piazza (for runs batted in specifically while playing for the Mets).
Now, Alonso is up to third place in franchise history with his 659 RBI and counting.
Alonso already has the most five-RBI games in Mets history, according to Sarah Langs.

Wright had 10 of those. Alonso now has 12.
Somehow, third place on that list is Todd Hundley.
Alonso relishes big moments, and a Subway Series at home against the Yankees is certainly one of those.
Hanging out in history with a couple of franchise greats just adds to the occasion.
