Edwin Diaz provided one of the oddest injury updates ever on April 23. He shared with reporters that the Mets had learned that one of the closer's legs was longer than the other.
But the update Diaz provided was, "We fixed it yesterday."
Since then, Diaz has been the most unhittable pitcher in baseball.
He has made 12 appearances (12.1 innings) since then. And in that time, Diaz has allowed three singles and five walks while striking out 17 batters with a 0.00 ERA and six saves.
Hitters are 0 for their last 30 against Diaz.
They certainly fixed the problem.

Diaz has been back to his old self this season. There were some concerns early in the spring about his velocity.
But he's out there jogging in to the trumpets and throwing 99 miles per hour again.
The Mets should check to make sure all their other players have even-length legs. If they don't, maybe that's a Moneyball-level inefficiency to be taken advantage of.
Regardless, Mets fans must just be pumped to have Diaz pitching like this. A lead in the ninth inning is always safe.
