The Subway Series got started on Friday between the New York Yankees and New York Mets. The first time these two teams met, the Yankees won two-out-three at home. Both teams started the series in desperate need of getting hot and staying hot, as the MLB All-Star Break approaches.
This one started hot, with fireworks on the Fourth of July right away. Through five innings, there were five homeruns. Two of them came from Yankees rookie Jasson Dominguez, as he started the game with one, and then hit another in the fifth inning.
