The Minnesota Twins have added a former All Star to their roster via free agency.
The new guy: Orlando Arcia.
Arcia signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Saturday, according to MassLive's Chris Cotillo.
He was an All Star in 2023 with the Atlanta Braves, and he also won a World Series with the Braves.
Maybe most fun about this contract is that Arcia is the younger brother of former slugging Twins outfielder Oswaldo Arcia.
Orlando Arcia is 31 years old now and hasn't hit as well as he once did, but he's still a solid glove at shortstop.

Arcia is from Venezuela and was a highly touted prospect coming up in the Milwaukee Brewers system.
He spent the first half of his MLB career with the Brewers.
Then he went to the Braves for four-and-a-half seasons before spending the closing stages of last season with the Rockies.
In his 2025 split between Atlanta and Colorado, Arcia hit just.202.
He's a career.239 hitter with a.661 OPS.
Arcia isn't a guarantee to make the MLB roster, especially given he only signed a minor-league deal. But he has enough pedigree and experience to make a run at a Minnesota roster spot with a strong spring.
