The Minnesota Twins are in the offseason and are now on the hunt for a new skipper to lead their team after parting ways with Rocco Baldelli. With some top managers on the market, they’re sure to find a good one.
Also, some positive news for the Twins, as one of those top managers, Bruce Bochy, will have one less suitor that could have beaten Minnesota out; the San Francisco Giants. According to Giants GM Buster Posey, San Francisco will not pursue their former manager.
"I talked to Boch a couple of days ago, and just told him that where we are currently, and I don't even know what Boch's plans are, if he wants to continue or manage or not, the door is always open here for some sort of role, but the way I think that things are coming into picture in my mind with where we want to go next, I don't see us going that route with Boch," Posey said.
This is great for the Twins. The top team that could have landed such a stud manager doesn’t really want him, which gives them an avenue to jump in.

Bochy is an amazing skipper, with a Manager of the Year, four World Series wins, and five Pennant wins under his belt.
If the Twins really want to turn their franchise around, getting a guy like Bochy would be the answer. Hopefully, they give him a call once the offseason begins, as he definitely will have suitors.
