Tanner Scott predicted to make Dodgers World Series roster image

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays are set for the World Series, which is just one day away. Once Friday rolls around, both teams will have to finalize rosters.

Dodgers' reliever/closer Tanner Scott has missed both of the last two playoff series after a procedure to clear up an abscess. He was removed from the NLDS roster before Game three, and has not returned since. However, manager Dave Roberts did not rule out Scott for a potential return in the World Series.

Dodgers' Tanner Scott predicted to be on World Series roster

As DodgersNation.com has done for each Dodgers' playoff series, they have predicted the roster once again for the World Series, and Tanner Scott shows up in the reliever section:

"Relief Pitchers (9): Roki Sasaki, Blake Treinen, Emmet Sheehan, Ben Casparius, Clayton Kershaw, Jack Dreyer, Anthony Banda, Alex Vesia, Tanner Scott"

The official rosters have not been released, so it's all speculative at this point,  but if Scott's procedure went well, he should be fully rested and ready to pitch. However, the Blue Jays' roster features a plethora of right-handed bats like George Springer, Bo Bichette, Alejandro Kirk, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Because the Blue Jays have so many righties, that may lead to Dave Roberts not opting to use Tanner Scott, and instead choosing to go with higher-leverage right-handed relievers.

Rosters will be finalized before game one tomorrow.
