There has not been much to complain about lately for Los Angeles Dodgers fans. The team assembled a superteam, went out and won a World Series in 2024, and defended that title with another World Series win in 2025.
They have the chance to be the first team to win three World Series titles in a row, a feat last achieved by the New York Yankees in 1998, 1999, and 2000.
They have a significant portion of their roster returning in 2026, which puts them in an excellent position. However, they also went out and made some strategic moves this offseason, shoring up an area that gave them problems last season.

Stability and star power keep the Dodgers atop MLB projections
The Dodgers have not made a ton of moves so far this offseason, but they have made some good ones. Their biggest addition will certainly be acquiring Edwin Diaz, who will be closing out games for the club this upcoming season.
The bullpen was an area that gave the team fits, and Diaz should stabilize that.
Other key additions the Dodgers acquired were Miguel Rojas on a one-year deal, which will be his final season before he retires. They also signed Andy Ibanez to a one-year deal as well.
Despite the slow offseason, the Dodgers are sitting pretty. Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer has full faith they can three-peat later this year.
"As of now, the Dodgers project for the most WAR of any team in MLB. So if anyone was hoping that LA's dreams of a three-peat would be dead on arrival on Opening Day, better snap out of it."
It is going to be tough to push the Dodgers out of their coveted No. 1 spot, but it is possible. Just look at the improvement the Toronto Blue Jays have made so far over the winter.
