It was the Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto show at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday night. In one of the bigger MLB mismatches you'll see, the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the Chicago White Sox, and the game went just about how you’d expect.
The Dodgers jumped out with four runs in the first inning and never looked back. They added a run in the third and another in the fourth. Chicago’s lone run also came in the fourth.

Los Angeles got things started with a Teoscar Hernández RBI single and added runs on hits by Andy Pages and Michael Conforto. Pages drove in another run in the third, setting the stage for the biggest moment of the night. In the bottom of the fourth, Shohei Ohtani launched his 30th home run of the season to center field, another effortless swing in what's been a season full of them. You will want to see this one:

Ohtani now leads the National League with 30 home runs. Eugenio Suárez is second with 26, followed by Kyle Schwarber with 25.
On the mound, Yamamoto was dominant. He tossed seven innings, striking out eight while allowing just three hits and one walk. With the win, he improved to 8-6 on the year with a 2.51 ERA.
The two teams will meet again on Wednesday night. Sean Burke is set to start for the White Sox. The right-hander is 4-7 on the season. He’ll be opposed by Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw, who is 4-0.
