The Los Angeles Dodgers were able to come away with Game 1 on the road against the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.

Some dominant bullpen pitching from Tyler Glasnow and Roki Sasaki, along with a three-run blast to take the lead in the seventh from Teoscar Hernandez, helped the Dodgers sneak away with the first game.

Heading into Game 2, questions remain with All-Star catcher Will Smith, who continues to ramp things back up after suffering a hairline fracture in his right hand.

Will Smith remains out of the Dodgers' lineup in Game 2 of NLDS

Although he was able to replace the starting catcher Ben Rortvedt during Game 1, Will Smith will remain out of the starting lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Phillies. He and Max Muncy, who has often sat against left-handed pitchers, are not in the Dodgers' initial lineup.

Instead, it will be Ben Rortvedt for the fourth straight game at catcher and Miguel Rojas at third base for the Dodgers.

Smith, 30, is still recovering from the hairline fracture he sustained on Sept. 3. He was able to return in Game 1 after replacing Rortvedt in the fifth on Saturday, going 0-for-2 and contributing a run for the Dodgers in the game.

Again, Smith will be available off the bench for the Dodgers as LHP Blake Snell takes on LHP Jesus Lazardo in Game 2.
