The Los Angeles Dodgers are only a few months away from their third World Series campaign, and they haven’t stopped looking for upgrades. Luckily, there is one upgrade available that would be a sight to behold for long-time Dodgers fans.

According to Fansided’s Zachary Rotman, the Dodgers could have a reunion with their former MVP and 2020 World Series champ, Cody Bellinger.

“With the Diaz signing complete, the Dodgers' biggest weakness now is probably their corner outfield. Teoscar Hernandez is likely to occupy one of the two spots, but the other corner is wide open. That's where a guy like Cody Bellinger can step in. While Dodgers fans might immediately think of Bellinger's last two seasons in Los Angeles, which were a struggle offensively, he's a different hitter now than he was then…The Dodgers probably don't want to meet an insane asking price, but there's always a chance Bellinger's price would come down to a spot they're comfortable with. If so, don't be surprised to see the Dodgers pull the trigger on this reunion,” Rotman wrote.

This past season, Bellinger slashed.272/.334/.480/.813 with 25 doubles, 29 home runs, and 98 RBI in 152 games played. He would add another Silver Slugger to the lineup, a Gold Glove to the outfield, and overall an upgrade over Michael Conforto.

Bellinger will also be much cheaper than the other top outfielder on the market, Kyle Tucker. And with the super team the Dodgers already have, that works just fine for them.

Hopefully, the Dodgers are interested in a reunion and fill that hole in the outfield with an old friend.
